We can build and install fireplaces and surrounds, as well as restoring and fitting original staircases and verandas. The extension fitted on a house in Cobham included the complete construction of an oak veranda, along with a two opener roof lantern above the conservatory.
Doors
Renofurn can build and fit doors of any size. These include both interior and exterior doors with styles comprising of glazed, panelled and ledged, and braced board doors. We are able to match or design doors to fit into any desired period look. Examples include the English oak door shown below, and the Jacobean Gothic style paired doors.
The period door we designed for a Hotel reception required unusual hinge design. We have also produced bespoke room dividers (folding and sliding) and a number of intricate screens.
Windows
We can supply windows that range from modern designs to traditional sash models. Exceptional quality glass is available (we have close links with some of England’s top stained glass specialist designers).
Our craftsmen can also renovate old sash windows, disassembling the unit into it’s components and rebuilding it from scratch. If necessary we can also supply rare fittings to ensure the repaired unit fits perfectly in with any others.
